Eating out can be a fun and relaxing experience, but if you end up ordering all of your favourites, you can find yourself consuming your required daily calorie intake or more in one sitting. So do you like to eat out, but like to eat consciously as well? Then it is advisable to know what are the better choices. Most things people tend to already be aware of, like opting for a soup or a salad as a starter, going easy on the bread with garlic butter, and ordering fish instead of (fatty) meat and an extra serving of vegetables instead of chips or pasta.
Many restaurants serve quite large portions because they of course want their guests to feel that they've eaten well. The major advantage at ABC is that you decide, so it is entirely up to you what you eat, how much you eat and if you want condiments or not. There are so many things to choose from though! And all even more delicious and healthier than the next dish.
That is why we have given some of our dishes the Healthy Option label, so that healthy eating now is surprisingly simple.
Our Healthy Options meet at least these requirements:
FAT:
The fat content of the product is a maximum of 6.0 grams of fat per 100 grams of product.
The product is low in saturated fats, and combined with the trans fatty acids, contains no more than 3.0 grams per 100 grams of product.
SUGAR:
The sugar content of the product is a maximum of 6.0 grams of sugar per 100 grams of product.
ENERGETIC VALUE:
Less than 150 calories per 100 grams of product.
At ABC we always have at least 40 Healthy Options available. You can recognize the Healthy Options by the green 'Healthy Options' buffet cards.
