Respect
At ABC, we notice it as well: people sometimes forget that 'respect' is an important starting point when engaging in fun activities such as enjoying delicious food with other people. In other words: no discrimination, racism, aggression or sexual harassment. We assume this a matter of fact for all of you. Just like it's absolutely not done to ruin a pleasant outing under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Those who cross the line may not participate, and will be gently, but purposefully, escorted out of the building. Fortunately, this doesn't happen very often. And then there's intentional destruction or damage. These are exceptions. It goes without saying that those who partake in such actions will be held responsible for repair and renovation costs.
Safety
Your safety is our concern, in the sense that our security cameras will keep watching over you and your belongings. Obviously, weapons are not allowed on the ABC premises, just like dealing in drugs. Oh, and the fact that we do not like aggressive behavior and nuisance shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. We assume such behavior is not appropriate while enjoying delicious foods and treats.
Calamities
Despite our best efforts, there is always the chance of something unpleasant happening. Luckily, many of our employees are trained as emergency response officers and know exactly what to do if something bad occurs. If you notice anything that poses a potential danger, please warn one of our employees as quickly as possible. He/she will take immediate action and knows where the AED is located and how to operate it. Quick action can sometimes save lives.
Lost or found?
Indeed, ABC can be quite busy sometimes. Sometimes people forget their belongings. If you find something that is not yours, could you please bring it to one of our employees? We will store the found items for 4 weeks. If you lose something, however, we assume no liability. The best thing to do is to contact us within those 4 weeks and check whether your item is in our lost and found storage. We can all do each other a nice favor.
Food or sweets outside?
Also obviously not done. Unfortunately, it still happens sometimes. Really. You've paid to eat and drink in all of our restaurants. As much as you want. Yes, really. And yet occasionally, there are people who take food outside in their bags or jacket pockets. If we notice this on a regular basis, there's nothing else we can do than to check everyone's bags. And if we find any food or sweets, we will be forced to call the police. Doesn't sound like much fun, does it? For no one. For this reason, we prefer you not to take any large bags inside. Do you have questions about something? Is something not clear? A complaint maybe? Do not hesitate to contact one of our (supervising) employees. He/she will do everything to help you. Because one thing is for certain. We are only happy when we see satisfied guests. Nicely eating together. On their own, with an acquaintance, friend or loved one. With the whole family or the football team. With your class, hobby club or others who love a delicious feast in a unique ambiance.
No four-legged friends
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets, not even on the terrace. This is partly related to hygiene and food safety regulations, which we strictly adhere to.
